CrestView School Supplies Drive

For nearly ten years Living Word Christian Center has been a sponsor of CrestView Elementary School in Brooklyn Park, MN. Our partnership includes an annual school supplies drive; a staff welcome back breakfast; teacher dinners during parent conferences; free Thanksgiving Baskets of Blessings delivered to families in need; a Christmas Toy Store where families can select toys donated by Maranatha Christian Academy students and LWCC members; a Track and Field Day event; a CrestView junior golf program and donated turkeys for Turkey Bingo fundraiser.

This fall the Living Word Outreach Department is again accepting school supply donations for CrestView students whose families cannot afford to purchase the needed supplies. CrestView kids deserve the school supplies needed to learn. These include backpacks, children’s scissors, colored pencils, Crayolas, pencil boxes, Kleenex, glue sticks, folders, and markers.

Look through your home and gather any extra school supplies you might already have, such as blank notebooks, packages of paper (lined, construction or printer), pens, pencils and art or office supplies.

Stop by a store and purchase whatever supplies fit into your budget. Most dollar stores and pharmacies have basic school supplies. Don't feel that you need to spend more than you can afford. Any donation, large or small, will be appreciated and put to use.

Drop your donation off at the Living Word atrium information counter before Sunday September 5. For more information call 763-315-7111 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
